The Epson DS-40 scanner weighs just over one pound and is a device for storing business expenses for receipts and other documents electronically or on your computer. You can even record documents with an Android or iOS device. This device runs on four AA batteries (it comes with a set), and connects to your machine via USB or WiFi. The a/c adapter is optional. With a simple arrangement, but has a strange twist. There is a DVD in the box, with drivers, ABBYY FineReader OCR, EPSON Document Capture Pro, presto! BizCard and Epson scan the software, but because most portable devices currently don’t have Optical Drives, it’s not very useful.
